Global ACE Scheme offers training programmes and professional certification examinations. These trainings are offered by the Local Chapter in the participating country and it covers cyber security technical competencies and generic competencies.
Training programmes under Global ACE Scheme are divided into three (3) different levels based on the Cyber Security Capacity Building Framework as below:
Level 1: Foundation
This level builds cyber security awareness and appreciation, elevates adoption and adaptation to target groups. It covers foundational, transferable skills and underpinning knowledge required for one or more cyber security domains.
Level 2: Intermediate
This level builds cyber security practitioners. It includes core skills and underpinning knowledge required to perform a defined set of performance outcomes in a given cyber security discipline.
Level 3: Advance
This level builds cyber security mangers, strategists and professionals. It covers skills and underpinning knowledge required to achieve mastery in a defined set of performance outcomes in specific areas under a given cyber security discipline.
Each training programme is classified according to guidelines defined by the relevant Knowledge, Skills and Attitude (KSA) descriptor .
